  • 1959 A world first: the first Vertical Form Fill and Seal machine with rotating belts. To date, most of the Form Fill and Seal machines in the world still work in accordance with this technical principle.
  • 1961 First cartoning machine with upstream Fill and Seal machine: bag-in-box packaging.

  • 2017 successful launch of BVC 260 Flexible for production of all bag styles, including RoPack with re-closure (Zip)

  1. Discharge of bags according to desired position in tray (face up/face down)

  3. Across a conveyor belt, the bags are transported into individual single cases within the buffer indexing chain, ensuring safe and fast transport under the pick & place unit
  4. Positioning of bags within tray in layers; according to defined schema

The finished pack is provided with a tear-open perforation, which turns the transport packaging into a cargo-friendly, high-end display package at the point of sale.

Packaging solution: The continuous motion Form, Fill and Seal machine BVC 250 Compact is equipped with the proven product detection Sense & Seal, which detects products in the sealed area. Defective bags are discharged directly or lead out of the bagging machine downwards, by up to 240 bags per minute. Final packaging system EC combines a box erector, a pick & place unit including grouping and a closing unit on a footprint of just 10 m².
